Depleted from nursing a toddler for 5 days straight I still count my blessings.
The neighbors don’t complain about how much Indigo cries. The plum tree is blooming and I get to see her outside the bedroom window every time we are in there. Fresh eggs from the chickens. Community that doesn’t quit. Strong, fierce, wise women I’m akin to, bonded. A partner who tries. Quality gelatin for when the yogurt fails, AGAIN! Ability to express myself and my responsibilities to this place of expression. My responsibilities to all of this is a blessing.
Recognizing that it will not always be this way is so good and so is venting…
It was another hard day. Too many things to do and among other things, subjecting my kid to another appointment with an X-ray. He’s had so many X-rays in his short little life. It’s so hard on my mama heart…tomorrow has got to get better.
Thank goodness for my hubby, for my Sis and for friends who get us through it all <3
This quote says a lot of what we go through every week, sometimes every day.
Its a good life advocating for our youngest and its hard. It’s exhausting some days. Our friends and family get us through the really hard stuff but the little stuff chips away. I try to be a rock, strong and solid.
Even rocks get worn down by the river. Some day I’ll be shining and polished.
I feel a very strong momentous energy of success. So many people I love and care about are being recognized and being rewarded for their hard work. These people are generally successful folks but there are a few I’m thinking of today who have been in a pattern struggle and need. If you’ve been there, really been there, you know how depleting and catching that is. It’s like a net that drags you down and no matter how hard you try to escape, every ounce of effort feels wasted on the struggle downward.
These are wonderful people and their hard work is paying off, FINALLY!
I celebrate with you!
Ignore the haters, jump on this success train and keep going!!
We have been so sick and just hanging on but we are starting to turn the corner on this flu virus that is making its way through our valley.
Indigo healed up the fastest then my Hubby. I unfortunately have the persistent respiratory cough that doesn’t allow for much sleep and is very slow to heal. Thank the goddess for good friends!!!
Our friends and community continue to surround us with love and care. I’m not surprised, we have all invested in each other. It’s not easy being community because we all come from different places yet we find our way through all the and support each other.
I am continually humbled by the generosity of others.
