From where I stand…

We reached 100 blog posts yesterday! Wow! I’m glad that writing is still part of my everyday life in this world where it’s too easy to not do these things every day.

Indigo is sick, AGAIN! Poor buddy πŸ™ poor parents up all night taking turns holding him upright so he can breathe. Today he seems a little better.

Thank you again to friends and family offering up support with food and herbal remedies we will get through another cold.

Jimjam day again. Too much TV. Lots of fluids, tea and soup.

Kids (2yo and up) immune support tea: In a quart jar add a heaping spoonful of raw honey, 2Ts elderflowers, 2Ts of mullien, 1T of lemon balm. Steep for 15 min. Pour over ice and sip with your little sickies.

From where I stand…

The rain is so loud this morning. It’s telling me stories. It’s telling me to make plans, to live my life, to do the things I love with the people I love.

Spring is coming.

Stems of green and the bright pink and the pinky white and the purples are all coming back to bloom.

Spring is coming!

Our chickens are laying and getting surly. We are planning gardens to serve family meals and potlucks with friends.

Spring is coming.

Prematurely marking camp sights in my head, making lists of bedding, mess kits and where to carve the walking sticks.

Spring is coming…what are your plans?

From where I stand….

“They tried to bury us. They didn’t know we were seeds.”

I haven’t embroidered anything Β in years. It’s been even longer since I did cross stitch. I’m excited to get this one going. I haven’t decided which skill to use.

I’ve been drawn to this proverb for many years now. I feel it represents many different a phases of my life and it reminds me that new things are coming and that whatever happens I am strong.

Grow, be brave, you are strong!
