Wild purple violets, so fragrant and early this year. Baby shelf mushrooms. I’ll be checking up on these in a few months.

I just loved this little scene. Faeries live here.

The post from yesterday didn’t attach. Oy technology!!! So let’s try it again.

1.23.16 From where I stand…

We are working hard. We are getting ready for preschool and the testing is pretty extensive for Indigo. These kids are incredible and they have to smash the common idea of ability every.damn.day.

Reverence and peace loving kindness. We aim high, most days.

From where I stand…

We did some hard work today. My body is sore and we are learning new things about each other.

Indigo is in the middle of preschool readiness evaluations. For someone with disabilities this is more than just knowing how to sit in a circle, not push your friends, holding a crayon. Although he is also learning these things. It’s hard work physically and emotionally. These kiddos work SO hard to live in this world. I’m so thankful for not only his therapists and teachers, his family members especially his papa who works for everything we have…it’s also you all. His community that will cherish him, challenge him and care for him along with us and if ever I cannot.

Keep taking care of each other.
